The 999S is work in progress in terms of upgrades.  The bike is a keeper.  I believe its producing around 130RWHP.  The 999 came out in 03 and from the get go was a controversial design.  Not well accepted by the Ducati purist, but lately has been getting better feedback now that the 1098 has been on the road for a while.  The 999 has grown on me, especially the S model.  I believe it was ahead of its time, it was revolutionary instead of being evolutionary.   I think the bike is awesome, I also feel that way about my 916.

I'm putting the finishing touches on a polishing system for the Ducati.  A system that is finally user friendly in terms of machine polishing and achieving amazing results.  I've been in the wholesale car care product business for 20 years and have access to products that sell to professionals only, not sold in any stores.  I also know car care product manufacturers to the point where they will formulate products for me.  I have some ideas in mine and will be for me.  I have some ideas in mine and will be sharing these with you all in the future.  Things don't move very fast for me due to my previous injuries so I require assistance in R&D.  You will see in the posted pictures the end result of some of these products.  Low digital pixel counts does not do the system justice.
