Track Day Report
This was a cooperative effort between Kneeriders.com and The Ducati Owners Group of Sacramento.
We had the same open format as our previous track days.
Our focus was on Ducatis but all bikes were welcome. It was an outstanding event, offering various track day perks.

Track Day Report
Well, our first private track day was a rousing success. Perfect weather, professional staff of guest instructors, awesome track, great karma and good BBQ.
We ended up hosting it on an AMA weekend, but it seemed no one cared about that. After all, AMA ran both Saturday and Sunday.
We will keep you posted on the date for next year, looking forward to seeing some new faces at that time.
Thanks to those who participated, Jovan and I really appreciated it.

Another fine day at the track with a full compliment of riders including a group of vintage 160 Honda Racers. Those little bikes can scoot!
Lunch was great and the group was as usual a friendly bunch of enthusiasts from all over the place.
The word is out and I have no doubt there will be a greater demand next year.

Mark your calender on Wednesday, September 29th, 2010 as a "day off". That is the day of the Sacramento Ducati Owner's Group (DOG) third annual private track day. The Event will be held at Thunderhill Raceway and rumor has it the track will be repaved in July or August, so it will be perfect for us. This is a very popular event, we sold out the previous three years. People really enjoyed the atmosphere and wanted to come back for more. At any given time there are approximately 15 riders on the track after the early sessions shake out. Thats like riding alone or if you prefer, with your own group of friends. Needless to say, squids are not allowed and no popping wheelies, especially while eating a hot dog. What people liked about our trackday is the freedom to come and go as you wish and no presence of show offs making unsafe riding movements.
Make new friends and join us! All bikes are welcome. The cost is $220 ( $200 for the first 20 riders and $239 after September 1, that includes a BBQ lunch and refreshments (I'm the resident cook).
We will have Dave Moss, the suspension guru present and Gotbluemilk photography also present as well.
Mark McPerry from Dainese will be on hand to show the newest safety gear and offer some great deals. John Bekefy from Leo Vince will also be there to show us some new exhuast systems and great deals...
